Rory Duffy
Tailoring Legacy since 1858
Proudly offering a two-tier tailored suit service. No matter which service you choose, all garments are measured, cut, fit and made by Rory.
In-house Services
Since Rory's return to Ireland in 2016 he has been training a local team in the tailoring techniques he learned by apprenticing with Savile Row's founding company Henry Poole's & Co. Together they offer a fully handcrafted bespoke suit made in his Monaghan based workshop.
Bench Made Bespoke
The world spins at a faster pace now than when Savile Row was at its epicentre. While maintaining the essence and integrity of handcraft, we can offer a suit made using modern tailoring techniques. These garments are solely made in-house by Rory and his team. They follow the three fitting rules set out by the Masters of Savile Row to ensure that fit and style are met in equal measure. No garment leaves Rory's workshop without passing under his watchful eye. The whole process takes approximately eight weeks. Every element and detail must meet his high standards before any client will see his creation.
A Handcraft Suit
Handcraft is handmade and by that, we mean "hand-stitching". Thousands of them make up a handcrafted suit. Following the traditional sewing techniques synonymous with Savile Row, Rory and his team make up the whole suit in-house. Drawn from years of training with Savile Rows founders Henry Poole's, Rory trained with the best to make the highest quality suit money can buy. Choose from a range of super 150's cloths from merchants like Scabal and Doremuil. We are easily satisfied by the best of everything and only the best finds its way into a handcrafted suit. With this level of detail of fit and finish, you can expect the process to be a slow progression. It can take up to twelve weeks to deliver a handcrafted suit.
